Meet the team

Michelle otherwise known as Mother mafia.
She steers the ship keeping us all in check and deals with all the behind the scenes things and is seen during the summer (sunning herself on a picnic table with her sunglasses on).
Oh no I mean sorting out the wetsuits on your arrival and talking you through health and safety and getting all the paperwork in order ready for your experience with us.

Stuart the sensible one (and the oldest).
He is our Senior RYA instructor and the sensible one of the family he undertakes the tours and also the Profiency Training days.He also has a great knowledge of the area and the places to take you on your experience.

Mark the boss, well sometimes...
I regularly get told off by Mother Mafia for not coming back on time usually because we are having way too much fun out on the water with you guy and girls. She is talking about using one of those collars for dogs that shocks us instructors if we don’t get you guys and girls back on time ( I think she means it too. And that in a nutshell is our team just your typical dysfunctional but fun family that loves having fun on the water in a safe and controlled way.

Richie (instructor) He literally lives on the water
Richie has spent most of his life in Cornwall surfing at every opportunity. He comes with a wealth of knowledge and has such a love for the sea its intoxicating, he is our newest instructor and loves getting people out on the water.
(and is hard to get him back off 😊)

Libby
the youngest member of our crew she helps Michelle and is usually on the pontoon taking selfies sorry waiting for us to come back and help you to disembark after your tour.
She also keeps us abreast of Instagram and Facebook being a millennial I never know if it’s business or tik-tok shes on she tells me it’s business tho 😊
Frequently asked questions
Yes we do have changing facilities on site however if you wish to shower we have showers in the main building, just a short walk from our classrooms.
Swimwear a towel , Sun screen (should you need it) sunglasses should you need them. Old trainers that can get wet however we do have footwear should you need them.
18 is our minimum age for taking the control of the skis. The minimum age for passengers is 12. We recommend checking with children that they are prepared for what’s involved. They will need to be able to hold on tightly and be comfortable with speed. This is a physical activity and requires a lot of energy for a small child to hold on.
Unfortunately, we are unable to take you out on the water unless you are able to swim and are water confident. This is for your safety and the safety of the others in the group.
Of course! Each ski has a compartment to store a phone in. It is requested that you do not attempt to use your phone while operating the ski, and riders are reminded that bringing personal belonging on the water is entirely at their own risk. There will also be a photo opportunity, where the instructor will offer to take pictures on their own device and send them to you should you wish.
Yes, if you need to wear glasses/sunglasses then please do wear them but we recommend that you have a floating glasses strap as a precaution. These can be purchased from us on the day if required. We do not take any responsibility for any items you take on the ski that can be lost or damaged.
Each tour begins with a safety briefing, therefore a basic ability to understand and communicate with the instructor in English is essential for your own safety when on the water.
We check the weather on a daily basis So should for any reason we have to cancel the tour you will of course be offered an alternative date or a full refund (minus any card fees) if we cannot accommodate you at a later date. If you are not contacted by us and you decide not to attend then unfortunately no refund will be given.
