HERE’S WHAT’S INCLUDED

SAFETY BRIEFING
Upon arrival, we'll sort out all of the paperwork. Please make sure you bring a towel, sunscreen and glasses with a strap if required. Once we've handled that, the fun can begin! After a quick safety briefing from one of our fully qualified instructors, we'll provide all of the safety equipment you'll need. This includes a wetsuit, shoes and buoyancy aid. You'll be able to use dedicated changing facilites onsite.
JETSKI TRAINING
We'll cover the basics of operating a jetski, before taking the time to make sure you're completely comfortable and confident with all aspects of the controls. Your instructor will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, and we'll move at your pace.
RIDE YOUR OWN JETSKI!
Time to get going! After setting you up on your own jetski and having the opportunity to practice and get familiar with your jetski, we'll set off! You will see Plymouth sound and the fortress and the Mewstone Rock before we race across Plymouth sound to see Kingsand and Cawsans bay in cornwall.

Amazing pwc course. Today I did my rya proficiency course with mayflower jetski tours and it was brilliant, I turned up not really knowing much about the practical side of having a pwc or the rules of the sea, but I left knowing everything I need to know and feeling confident for when I get my pwc. Mark was amazing and made me feel very at ease from the start and made it a nice and relaxed atmosphere while teaching me everything I needed to know. Couple of hours doing the classroom stuff but didn’t feel boring, but then a great amount of time on the water doing the practical, learning the skills needed to be competent but also making it fun and enjoyable. I couldn’t recommend doing this course enough and also using mayflower jetski tours for this. Can’t wait to come back and go on a safari with my partner. Highly recommend

Briiliant! Absolutely brilliant! Went out with Mark as a party of 4. His calm and encouraging style ensured every member of the group had a great experience enjoying the jet bikes to their level of capability. Brilliant Jet Ski experience. Highly Recommended. What a great trip out on a Jetski! Mayflower jetskis were able to fit me in at short notice, for what turned out to be a very fun and friendly ride. I will definitely be back, despite living a long distance away. Highly recommended to anyone local, or visitors to Plymouth.

Excellent Jet Ski Experience Absolutely excellent experience. Mark was a brilliant guide and instructor, fitted us in at short notice and took us all over Plymouth Sound. I would highly recommend going out on the Jet Skis, it was great value for money and the skis themselves were really good quality and comfortable. All the kit was provided, all I’d recommend it’s taking some sunglasses so you don’t get the spray in your eyes. Will be back again!

Coastal Ski This is the second time I've been out with Mark and I can highly recommend it to people who live in Plymouth and those who are thinking of visiting Plymouth and looking for ideas of what to do. Weather was perfect this morning, great views, Mark is a top guy and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic fun day We have just had the best day out with Mark at Mayflower Jetskis. We knew from earlier reviews we were going to be well looked after and Mark was excellent in ta hang us to use the Jetski and taking lots of time to make sure we felt confident before setting off. The kit supplied was excellent - some of it brand new (we borrowed wetsuits, shoes and life jackets). Training completed we practiced in a quiet area before setting out on our jaunt across the bay. Mark took lots of great pictures and video and our daughter was grinning like mad in all of them - she had such a good day. We felt completely safe and had so much fun. Thank you.

Best jetski experience! Best Jetski experience so far! We've done it few times on holidays in different countries and never thought the best experience would be in England. If you like to speed, do some tricks and have a real fun, that's the right place! Mark is very nice and easy going, would definitely recommend!

1st time jet ski fun Fun with my teenage girl daughter, screaming with excitement and a little terror at my driving skills! Really good instruction by Mark, got us out on the water and whizzing around the Sound, felt safe and yet allowed to have fun. Great way to try out a jet ski and see Plymouth Sound in a fun way.

Great experience Great experience out on the open water, the jet skis have great power when opened up. Superb tuition from Mark and Stuart,which as Josh and me were newbies was greatly appreciated.(Thanks very much for honouring our gift voucher which was long out of date!!). Frequently asked questions

Yes we do have changing facilities on site however if you wish to shower we have showers in the main building, just a short walk from our classrooms.

Swimwear a towel , Sun screen (should you need it) sunglasses should you need them. Old trainers  that can get wet however we do have footwear should you need them.

18 is our minimum age for taking the control of the skis.  The minimum age for passengers is 12.  We recommend checking with children that they are prepared for what’s involved.  They will need to be able to hold on tightly and be comfortable with speed.  This is a physical activity and requires a lot of energy for a small child to hold on.

Unfortunately, we are unable to take you out on the water unless you are able to swim and are water confident.  This is for your safety and the safety of the others in  the group.

Of course! Each ski has a compartment to store a phone in. It is requested that you do not attempt to use your phone while operating the ski, and riders are reminded that bringing personal belonging on the water is entirely at their own risk.There will also be a photo opportunity, where the instructor will offer to take pictures on their own device and send them to you should you wish.

Yes, if you need to wear glasses/sunglasses then please do wear them but  we recommend that you have a floating glasses strap as a precaution. These can be purchased from us on the day if required. We do not take any responsibility for any items you take on the ski that can be lost or damaged.

Each tour begins with a safety briefing, therefore a basic ability to understand and communicate with the instructor in English is essential for your own safety when on the water.

We check the weather on a daily basis So should for any reason we have to cancel the tour you will of course be offered an alternative date or a full refund (minus any card fees) if we cannot accommodate you at a later date. If you are not contacted by us and you decide not to attend then unfortunately no refund will be given.
